Rolling bearings – Specifications of vibration (acceleration)
for deep groove ball bearings

 1. Scope

This standard stipulates vibration acceleration specifications for deep groove ball bearings:

  • Bore diameter from 3mm to 120mm
  • Radial clearance C0, C2 or C3
  • Boundary dimensions conform to standard GB/T 2761994

Vibration grade “Z” in this standard is basic requirements for general purpose bearings which usually adopted by manufacturers for production inspection and not marked on finish products. Grade Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 and peak value grade ZF3, ZF4 apply for bearings with additional vibration requirements for bearing manufacturers’ quality control and users’ acceptance inspection.

4. Symbols for grade

ZF3: Bearing vibration (acceleration)  average value less than Z3 and peak value less than ZP3.
ZF4: Bearing vibration (acceleration)  average value less than Z4 and peak value less than ZP4.

6. Technical requirements of bearing vibration test

6.1 Test results of grade specified single bearing with bore diameter from 3mm to 60mm should be less than vibration (acceleration) limit values and peak values in table 1.

6.2 Test results of grade specified single bearing with bore diameter from 65mm to 120mm should be less than vibration (acceleration) limit values and peak values in table 2.
